HR ER Advisor (Band 6) – Employee Relations Focus
Contract Duration: 6 Months FTC
Location Base: East, Sussex, West Sussex, Kent areas. (agreed base location, Head Office based in Crawley, West Sussex, requirement to travel to sites across Kent/East Sussex)
Salary: £37,338 - £44,962 FTE
Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced HR Advisor to join their HR Advisory Team on a six-month contract. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting employee relations cases and providing expert HR advice across their East Operating Units (Kent/East Sussex).
Reliable travel between sites for meetings, hearings, and other responsibilities is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality HR advice and guidance to managers on ER matters.
Lead on complex ER cases, including grievance, disciplinary, and capability issues.
Coach and support managers in building people management skills and fostering a positive, inclusive culture.
Collaborate with union representatives to maintain strong working relationships.
Ensure compliance with employment legislation, HR policies, and GDPR obligations.
What they're looking for:
Proven experience in handling complex ER cases in a unionised environment.
Strong background in coaching and advising managers on people management.
NHS and public sector experience preferred.
CIPD qualification or studying
