Job Description: Senior Consultant
The Opportunity:
The Senior Strategic Consultant works primarily with the Sales team, meeting with prospective customers to share thought leadership, subject matter expertise, and consulting on solution and program design, specifically highlighting the business impact and demonstrating how Workhuman shows up as a trusted partner. After identifying business requirements, Consultants are responsible for influencing optimal program design and delivery to drive business results, advising on investment levels to deliver maximum results and ROI. Consultants communicate the value of our services in conjunction with our solutions, demonstrating our shared success approach and relevant case studies. The Senior Strategic Consultant excels at building trusted relationships, establishing credibility in our space, and liaising between prospects and Sales.
We can offer you an opportunity to:
1. Conceptualize, communicate, and demonstrate to prospects how Workhuman's products and services fuel business performance.
2. Collaborate across teams to define client approach, strategize on plans to achieve client objectives.
3. Work closely with Sales Reps and leaders to proactively identify and resolve issues, facilitate meetings, and guide strategy sessions with clients.
4. Contribute to the sales efforts of multiple field reps and sales leaders in the EMEA region by consulting with prospects on how our solutions can achieve their internal HR / People & Culture or business goals.
5. Own a role in the sales process by engaging with the sales team and enthusiastically participating during sales calls to win new business.
The Skills you will bring:
1. 7-10 years of strategic HR experience advising organizations, implementing HR solutions, and working with mid to large enterprises; OR 7-10 years of consulting experience and building internal and external relationships.
2. Experience serving as a senior consultant between Sales, Product, Marketing, Strategy & Consulting, and/or Customer Success teams.
3. Deliver feedback and insights from all internal teams to help close deals, reinforce company positioning, and drive higher client retention.
4. Meet with prospects to identify their requirements and work with Field Reps to tailor each prospect interaction and solution presentation based on the unique requirements of each customer via custom presentations and demos.
5. Partner with Marketing representing Workhuman in all various forms of events or speaking engagements, internally and externally and provide feedback on messaging and campaigns/field marketing events.
6. Maintain close alignment with Customer Success to understand client achievements & challenges to be able to accurately represent the partnership, and provide feedback internally on areas for continual improvement.
7. Remain current with company's latest ideas and product offerings and maintain the appropriate level of certification for providing solutions to prospects and clients.
Achievements:
1. Demonstrable understanding of the Human Resources industry with the talent for connecting to HR audiences and personas, specifically:
2. Experience in HR Consulting or other HR-related disciplines, including talent management, total rewards, employee engagement, employee communications, HRIS and organizational development.
3. Strong verbal communications and presentation skills with the ability to influence and lead client meetings with 5+ cross-functional senior leaders.
4. Track record of growing client relationships by anticipating client needs, proactively planning new growth strategies, and searching for new business connections to increase revenue.
5. Highly effective problem-solving and analytical skills, experience building and presenting a business case for change.
Travel requirement: Willingness to travel in region and to US for key prospect or for internal needs.
