As a vital member of our security team, you'll be on the frontline, closely monitoring activities and reporting any incidents. With a strong focus on continuous training and service improvement, you'll play an essential role in maintaining a secure and safe environment.
Position Details:
* Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off days (0700-1900)
* ⏰ Weekly Hours: average of 42h per week.
* Qualifications: SIA license required.

Job Opportunity
Key Responsibilities:
* Patrols: Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises to ensure safety and security. Monitor for any suspicious activities or security breaches.
* Gatehouse Management: Control access to the property by monitoring the gatehouse. Ensure that only authorized personnel and vehicles enter the premises.
* Deliveries and Collections: Manage incoming and outgoing deliveries and collections, verifying the identity of personnel and ensuring proper documentation is completed.
* CCTV Monitoring: Monitor surveillance cameras to observe and record activities on the premises. Report any incidents or anomalies promptly.
* Incident Reporting: Document any incidents, accidents, or security breaches in a clear and concise manner. Prepare detailed reports as required.
* Emergency Response: Respond to alarms and emergency situations, providing assistance and coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as needed.
Skills:
* Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with team members, visitors, and law enforcement.
* Computer Skills: Proficient in using computers and security software for reporting and monitoring purposes.
* Attention to Detail: Ability to observe and report details accurately.
* Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to assess situations and respond appropriately.
* Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and other departments.
* Physical Fitness: Capable of performing physical tasks related to patrol duties and emergency response.
Essential Skills
* Must have a valid SIA Licence.
* Must have the right to work in the UK.
* Have a five-year check able employment history or be able to produce documentary evidence of any period of unemployment, self-employment, or full and part-time education during that period.
* Must be within a reasonable commuting distance.
