Story Behind Need:
Business group: GTEP – Global Platform Engineering. Bank’s Global Technology & Enterprise Platforms (GTEP) is a key technology division of the bank, providing critical infrastructure solutions and support to the bank globally and employing approximately 2000 full-time employees and contractors across 15 countries. The team is seeking a Microsoft Cloud Integration Engineer, and the primary purpose of this role is to provide technical expertise and guidance in the field of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure Active Directory). This includes advising on best practices, troubleshooting complex issues, and helping to design and implement solutions that meet the needs of the organization. Projects include being a part of the Windows 11 conversion program and maintaining the existing Windows 10 platform.
Candidate Value Proposition:
The primary purpose of this position is to maintain and optimize the Windows 10 workstation Global Base image for our end users, ensuring its stability, security, and efficiency. The role involves managing updates, patches, and configurations to align with the bank’s standards and best practices. Additionally, the image engineer will assist the Global Imaging Senior Engineer with the development and execution of future MS solutions under the Intune umbrella, such as autopilot and policy management. The incumbent will work under the umbrella of the Global Image Engineering team and closely with other IT services teams and global stakeholders to ensure that the Win OS infrastructure supports our business operations effectively and evolves in line with industry technological changes.
Typical Day in Role:
Able to support systems infrastructure, hardware, and software, including analysis, planning, design, development, implementation, provisioning, upgrade, and day-to-day operations. Extensive experience in supporting and managing Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems at a global enterprise level. Possess expert knowledge in Operating system delivery technologies such as SCCM OSD, Microsoft Deployment Toolkit, and Microsoft Autopilot. Expertise in image capture, OS deployment, advertisement, task sequences, queries, and device management using MDT, SCCM, and Intune. Have expert knowledge of PowerShell scripting for task automation and configuration customization. Solid knowledge of Active Directory environments with multi-forests, Active Directory security groups, OUs, and GPO management. Understanding of Network Concepts including working knowledge of LAN/WAN protocols, VPN, certificate-based authentications, and services such as TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP. Strong ability to lead and deliver business solutions while managing stakeholder projects and support requests. Technical document writing experience for technical documents and end-user support documents.
Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:
* 10+ years of industry experience as a Technical Analyst.
* Hands-on experience with supporting Windows 10 and MS Intune product line.
* Advanced understanding of Windows 10 and 11 operating system architecture.
* 3-5 years of experience in providing Level 3 support for imaging solutions.
* 3-5 years in building, testing, and maintaining the Windows 10 global workstation image using standard SCCM OSD TS solutioning or Intune feature update.
Nice-To-Have Skills:
* Understanding of scripting and application packaging.
* Understanding of Active Directory environments with multi-forests, including GPO, Group Membership, and OU structures.
* Understanding of network topology, including working knowledge of LAN/WAN protocols and services such as TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
* Understanding of working with physical and virtual workstations.
* Understanding or general knowledge of standard Change Management processes.
* Driver management skills.
* Bilingual in Spanish is an asset.
Soft Skills Required:

Education & Certificates:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, MIS, Information Technology, or similar degree; equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute for degree. Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate is an asset.
Best VS. Average Candidate:
Any candidate should have extensive knowledge of MS products, particularly Intune, MS Office 365, and MS OS. Exceptional troubleshooting skills and excellent ability to review and decipher workstation/device logs. Sound understanding of Microsoft Deployment Toolkit and SCCM understanding and experience.
