Job Description
Are you a Registered Nurse, Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist looking for a change of career? Do you have experience in case management, occupational health or vocational rehabilitation? We’re recruiting for Vocational Clinical Specialist's to join our clinical team on a full time homebased or hybrid contract.
What you'll be doing:
* You’ll provide comprehensive clinical specialist advice and support to the Claims management team to assist in the assessment and management of Income Protection, Critical Illness and Ill health liability Insurance claims
* Develop and build effective relationships with members by holding discussions and conducting assessments through telephone or face to face contact, establishing their clinical capability, developing and monitoring rehabilitation plans
* You’ll review procedures to ensure market leading delivery of rehabilitation programmes to our members
* Fostering relationships with IFA’s and Policyholders, promoting the understanding of our claims philosophy and procedures
* Cultivating relationships with our external suppliers, ensuring we receive cost effective services
* Training, mentoring and developing other members on the benefits and rehabilitation
* You’ll develop processes that deliver a consistent level of service, such that our customer’s expectations are met
Qualifications
Who we're looking for:
* You will be a registered Nurse, Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist
* Registered member of the Nursing Council or Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
* Ability to work independently, conduct assessments and make judgments confidently
* Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office suite and report writing skills
* Strong communication skills
* Knowledge of the Insurance market or Income Protection products is preferred (although training will be provided)
