The Department of Computer Science is looking to appoint a talented Research Assistant with an interest in Statistical Machine Learning to work with Professor Theo Damoulas and his group on the London Air Quality Impact Project funded by the Alan Turing Institute running until July 2026 (with a possibility of an extension) The position is particularly suitable for candidates interested in pursuing a PhD in Mathematical Sciences. About You You will have a BSc/Beng Degree in Computer Science or a related subject and excellent programming skills in Python. Other programming skills are desirable. You will be working in a fast-paced research environment, assisting in group activities and in managing the group’s computational resources in collaboration with the departmental’ s IT team.
