Senior Information Analyst – Housing Transformation
Fixed Term Until December 2026

Peterborough is a wonderful place to live and work. We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Senior Information Analyst – Housing Transformation to join our Public Health team within the Performance and Intelligence Service on a fixed-term basis until the end of December 2026.
You will be a talented and outcomes focused Data Analyst who will lead the development of our Housing Services analysis and PowerBI dashboards. This role is crucial in leveraging housing data to provide actionable insights, support the development of a predictive costing tool and support strategic decision-making within Housing Services. As the successful candidate you will also be responsible for extracting data from the housing system called Jigsaw and linking it to our data platform, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead the extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes for data held in case management systems into the data platform.
2. Develop, maintain, and improve PowerBI dashboards to visualise data and present insights to stakeholders.
3. Support the development of the predictive costing tool for future homelessness and housing demand.
4. Collaborate with teams across Services to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
5. Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across all data sources and reports.
6. Perform data analysis and generate reports to support decision-making processes related to housing data.
About You
This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical and technical skills who wants to develop a career in the public sector. We are looking for a new colleague who:
1. Has existing data and analytics skills – PowerBI and SQL are essential.
2. Has knowledge and understanding of information systems and databases, including extraction of data and information.
3. Is talented in working with data and presenting it to different audiences.
4. Is quick to learn new skills and understand the context of our work.
5. Is a team worker but also able to work independently using own initiative.
6. Can work both from home and in the office, with the expectation that you will be office based 2-3 days per week.
7. You do not need to have prior experience in Public Health or Housing, but a keen interest and willingness to learn are essential.
