What the Job Involves This role includes identifying and negotiating service delivery for children and families, managing a caseload of single assessments under the Children’s Act S17 and S47, and handling child protection inquiries. You will participate in a duty system, employ effective time management, and engage in regular supervision to set goals and strategies. Your duties involve monitoring resources, promoting child engagement, and attending team meetings to enhance service integration and effectiveness. You will also ensure translation services are available when needed and provide cover for team members. Senior Practitioners take on additional responsibilities, such as delivering training, supervising social work students, and managing more complex family cases.
