Job Summary
This is a fantastic opportunity to join the Waste team and deliver a range of diverse projects that will make a real difference to the lives and businesses across Broadland and South Norfolk, helping the Councils meet their simpler recycling ambitions.
As the Waste Project Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of various projects across the Waste Service, initially focusing on the implementation of the food waste collection service to all households across South Norfolk as from April 2026.
You will be responsible for all aspects of the project lifecycle including, but not limited to, inception, planning, financial, risk, resources, and quality management to ensure that projects are delivered to cost, quality, time, desired outcomes, and benefits.
The role will be responsible for a pipeline of work with significant importance in the Councils’ waste services. The role requires experience of confidently managing multiple and complex projects whilst working with a range of internal and external project stakeholders.
