Our Grantham based client is seeking a Production Scheduler to join the team. The successful candidate will coordinate schedules and inventories, ensuring an efficient and effective operation for our client.
Duties include:
• Collaborates with sales, logistics and manufacturing departments and establish schedules and plans.
• Manage current and anticipated orders with inventory of raw materials.
• Coordinate raw materials, equipment, and staff to meet delivery deadlines.
• Prepare production reports and submit KPIs.
• Create Work Orders and Route Files for new products.
• Plan and raise all documentation required for one-off and repeat production jobs.
• Plan and raise all documentation required for development work.
• Ensure all bought out supplies and services are ordered for production jobs.
• Oversee plant equipment and manufactured spares.
• Implement stock control procedure and stock checks.
In order to be considered for the Production Scheduler role candidates must have previous scheduling exposure in an engineering environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with Intermediate Word and Excel are also essential. Some Epicor knowledge would be helpful but is not essential for the position.
