Accounts Manager (Hybrid)

An established accountancy practice in Glasgow is seeking a proactive and experienced Accounts Manager to join their dynamic team. This role is essential for managing client relationships, overseeing account management processes, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality accounting services.

In this role, you will:
* Oversee the day-to-day management of a diverse portfolio of clients, providing exceptional service and support.
* Supervise and mentor a team of 5, support staff, ensuring they are trained and equipped to meet client needs.
* Review and approve financial statements, tax returns, and other compliance-related documents to ensure accuracy and adherence to regulations.
* Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing queries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
* Prepare and present reports on client accounts and team performance to the Managing Director.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, changes in legislation, and best practices to provide informed advice to clients.
The ideal candidate:
* Part-qualified (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) or qualified by experience.
* Proven experience in an accountancy practice, with a strong background in client management.
* Demonstrated management experience, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
* Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members.
