Major Recruitment are seeking an experienced Production & Logistics Planner to join our client's site at their manufacturing site near Burton Upon Trent.
The Production and Logistics Planner will be a key team player within the Operations Team, responsible for manufacturing and logistics planning on a day-to-day basis.
Key Responsibilities as Production & Logistics Planner:
* Responsible for ensuring daily production and logistics plans are completed.
* Interface between Business Assistants, Customer Service, and Production.
* Ensure correct and timely requests for raw materials are maintained and supply issues escalated to the Management team.
* Order raw materials and coordinate the delivery schedule.
* Coordinate transport stream for finished products and samples through 3PL management, including raising order documents and POs.
* Responsible for raising any stock issues when they arise.
* Work in accordance with company's values, HR and HS&E policies: instructions, minimum requirements, and guidelines.

Skills required for Production and Logistics Planner:
* Previous experience within a similar role, a minimum of 2 years' experience.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Previous experience within an FMCG environment.
* Good working knowledge of SAP and Excel.
