Hourly Wage: £6.40
Qualification: Level 3 Business Administration
We are delighted to advertise this exciting opportunity to become a Business Administrator apprentice for an exciting and growing business in the heart of the Herefordshire countryside.
This role will help an apprentice find their strengths through their own development and training, whilst continuing to grow both personally and professionally.
This is a great opportunity for someone that would like to grow their career, and get a range of experiences in Business administration, with the additional element of event management.
Key Responsibilities
This role involves a range of administrative and communication tasks. Key duties include:
1. Updating and inputting data into spreadsheets for events and forecasts.
2. Confirming suppliers for upcoming events.
3. Responding to wedding enquiries via phone and email.
4. Maintaining communication with clients and suppliers across various channels.
5. Ordering resources and equipment.
6. Generating content for social media posts.
7. Designing marketing materials.
8. Conducting online research.
9. Contributing to meetings and brainstorming sessions.
10. Maintaining and updating the filing system.
11. Developing internal processes and presenting these to the owner.
12. Providing event management support during the wedding season (May to September).
Candidate Requirements:
* Excellent communication skills within the team and when client facing.
* Confident telephone manner and face-to-face interactions.
* Time management skills, punctuality, and an organised approach.
* Knowledge of Excel, Word, Instagram, and Canva is an advantage but not essential.
* Sense of humour and positive outlook.
* Flexibility.
* Creativity.
* Confidence to present new or alternative ideas.
* Ability to work well under pressure, both independently and in a small team.
* Strong writing skills are a definite advantage.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality when dealing with client data.
Educational Requirements:
GCSE Maths and English at grade 4 (C) or higher.
Future Prospects
This position is initially available on a full-time, fixed-term contract. Upon successful completion of the Apprenticeship, there is the possibility of an ongoing position, which will be discussed at the appropriate time.
