About the Role: As a Pastoral Manager, you will: Support the Head of Achievement (Year) in maintaining high standards of attendance, behaviour, and uniform. Monitor the academic progress and social and emotional well-being of pupils within a year group. Develop and implement plans to improve the behaviour and/or progress of individual pupils. Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and outside agencies to address pupil concerns. Supervise pupils completing work and manage the internal exclusion room. Promote positive values, attitudes, and behaviour, celebrating pupil successes across the school. Lead or attend multi-agency meetings as required, supporting vulnerable pupils and families. Key Responsibilities: Maintain accurate and secure pupil records, including incident logs and welfare information. Deliver care, support, and guidance services to pupils, staff, and parents. Provide on-call assistance and participate in supervisory duties as needed. Work collaboratively with staff and external agencies to deliver effective interventions. Uphold school policies on health and safety, child protection, and behaviour management.
