Job Overview:
As the Marketing Communication & Media Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing ThriveCart's marketing communication strategy, including media relations. You will develop and execute campaigns across all channels to promote ThriveCart's brand, brand image and product adoption, positioning ThriveCart as a market leader.
Reporting to the CMO, you will own the marketing and media communication strategies and the execution of it through your team.
What Your Work Will Entail:
* Marketing Communication Strategy: Develop and implement marketing communication strategy to enhance brand awareness, trust and adoption, hence contributing to the Company's overall sales and revenue objectives.
* Digital & Social Media Strategy: Set in place digital and social media initiatives (SEO, PPC, social media campaigns) to optimize ThriveCart's share of voice and brand health, thus driving engagement and adoption.
* Asset Creation: Build library of assets in line with Brand Guidelines and Company's tone of voice.
* Measurement & Analytics: Track key communication metrics, measure campaign effectiveness, and refine strategies based on data insights.
* Budget Management: Allocate annual budget effectively across channels delivering best ROI (Always On / Product plan / Seasonal campaigns).
* Brand Guidelines: Custodian of the brand guidelines and tone of voice, you will ensure that these are applied throughout the business and with external partners/media owners.
* Media Relations: Build and maintain relationships with journalists, influencers, and media outlets to secure press coverage and thought leadership opportunities.
* Content & Messaging: Oversee all public-facing messaging, including press releases, blog content, speeches, and executive communications.
* Brand Reputation Management: Monitor public sentiment, manage crisis communications, and ensure a positive brand image.
* Event & Speaking Engagements: Identify and coordinate opportunities for ThriveCart executives to speak at industry conferences and participate in media interviews.
What You Bring To This Role:
* Proven success in developing and executing marketing communication and media strategies.
* Strong understanding of the digital marketing landscape.
* Experience with social media strategy, digital marketing, and content distribution.
* Data-driven mindset with the ability to measure the impact of communication efforts.
* Strong relationships with media outlets, journalists, and industry influencers.
* Exceptional writing, storytelling, and public speaking skills.
* Crisis communication experience.
* People management skills.
* Strategic thinking skills.
* Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field (required).
* 8+ years of experience in marketing communications and media relations, preferably in SaaS or e-commerce.
* Relevant certifications in PR, digital media, or corporate communication are a plus.
