Job summary
This full-time post will provide comprehensive administrative support to the Musculoskeletal (MSK) Physiotherapy service across Warrington and Halton services. You may be an experienced administrator, seeking a could be the job for you!
Main duties of the job
To support the service by managing any telephone enquiries as they arise, from the public, staff and other health care services and the community.
To support the MSK Physiotherapy clinics and classes, collating initial referrals and providing reports.
Assist with organisation of appointments and workload management.
Work closely and collaboratively alongside clerical colleagues
Be responsible for ordering of stock items ensuring that stock levels are maintained.
Actively participate and contribute to the service development.
Dealing with difficult telephone calls tactfully and sensitively, take accurate messages and ensure any necessary actions are either taken, or escalated to the appropriate person.
Develop and maintain good working relationships with all members of the Physiotherapy team
To receive all incoming referrals ensure they have been triaged by a senior member of the physiotherapy team and then log onto the system efficiently
To book patient appointments and schedule clinics
To undertake general photocopying, distribution and mail duties
To produce reports and relevant documents as requested, distributing as appropriate.
To monitor and order items to replenish stock
To input patient information onto the computerised patient system.
To manage secure archiving of documentation and disposal.
To file and maintain copies of departmental records.
To collate audit information for the manager as required.
