We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our well developed, long standing Community Therapy service.
The service offers an urgent community response to ensure patients can be supported to stay at home to avoid hospital admission, as well as support those returning home from a hospital setting for ongoing rehabilitation to meet their full potential in their own environment.
Alongside our Urgent Community Response offer we also offer community therapy to those patients with non-urgent routine therapy needs.
Our team consists of OTs, Physiotherapists and Technical Instructors. You will be expected to work autonomously providing assessment and treatment/rehabilitation in people's own homes. We work closely with our other colleagues, holding daily MDT's to support our patients.
CPD is actively supported via clinical supervision, annual appraisal and in-service training. Supervision of students is actively encouraged. All our staff are fully supported by the Clinical and Operational Team.
If you are innovative, talented and adaptable, and would like to be part of a growing and forward thinking community team then come and join us.
Applicants must hold a valid UK driving license, have access to a vehicle for work purposes at all times on duty and be confident to drive in all driving conditions for this community post.
