Job overview
SDH Developments Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary company of Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust, provides pharmacy services to patients and visitors attending the Outpatients Department at Torbay Hospital. We are now looking for a pharmacy technician to join our team.
In this role, you will dispense medicines for patients, undertake related duties including ordering and receipt of stock, and be involved in the provision of an efficient and effective ‘front of house’ service for customers, including the sale of medicines. Accuracy Checking Technicians will also be required to undertake a final accuracy check on prescriptions.
You will need to be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council and possess excellent communication, organisational, and customer service skills. You should also be an effective team player.

Main duties of the job

The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties.
