Each JoJo store is unique, whether it’s trading over two floors, featuring a quirky layout, or situated in an interesting location. They each have a personality of their own. Our Unique Selling Point (USP) in this ever-changing retail world is the relationships we build with our customers, many of whom are loyal to our brand and local store team. This is where you come in — you’ll be the face of JoJo, providing a fantastic level of customer care and service that we are renowned for and proud of. You’ll guide, inform, and assist our customers in purchasing from our extensive range of clothing and products, which could include expectant parents, excited grandparents, or friends and family.
Our B Corp principles are central to our ethos, and every team member upholds them. As we transition into a digital retail environment, offering Omni-Channel customer service is essential to building customer loyalty.
A peek into your daily adventures:
1. Assisting customers in various situations, from bra fitting or discussing maternity wear to demonstrating a baby carrier to an interested parent.
2. Preparing and managing Omni-Channel orders.
3. Communicating with customers in-store or via phone regarding their orders.
4. Using digital or virtual learning platforms to continually develop your knowledge and retail skills.
5. Learning about new products to increase sales opportunities.
6. Listening actively to customer needs and working out the best solutions for them.
7. Maintaining a clean and attractive store environment.
Typically, a week involves one 6-hour shift; however, flexibility is required to meet store needs.
Skills that make you shine:
* Previous experience in retail, customer service, or sales.
* Competent IT skills and the ability to quickly adapt to new systems.
* Ability to learn and retain high levels of product knowledge and communicate effectively.
* A self-developing mindset and curiosity for learning about new products independently.
* Ability to demonstrate sales skills through active listening, empathy, and understanding customer needs, without hard sales techniques.
* Ability to work harmoniously within a small team.
* Flexibility to work in a retail environment, with most stores open 7 days a week.
* Keen eye for detail to keep the store looking its best.
