We’re extremely proud to be on this journey, and hope you can join us About the role We are seeking a talented Senior Digital Content Specialist to join our team on a 9-month contract. This role is key to the successful launch and ongoing development of our new website. You will work closely with various teams to create engaging, persuasive, and SEO-optimised copy for our website that aligns with our new brand identity, tone of voice as well as content design best practices. You will report to our Head of Digital Content and work closely alongside our Websites Manager, Head of Design, Digital Marketing Analyst and other designers and content specialists. This role will primarily focus on getting our new brand website ready for external launch. You will work alongside the wider team in an agile way to deliver the website in different phases over the course of the contract. Our goal is a best in class SaaS website with exceptional digital journeys and experiences for customer growth. Main Responsibilities Website copywriting: Write and edit copy for key web pages needed for the launch and future phases of our new website. Ensure all copy follows best practices in content design and aligns with our new brand tone of voice. Content redevelopment: Re-develop and re-write existing web content, PDF and flyer content into web-friendly formats. Ensure the content is clear, engaging, and easy to consume. SEO optimisation: Optimisation of new web copy based upon keyword research and alignment with search intent or user needs. User insights: Review user research interviews to capture pain points and insights. Incorporate these findings into the new content to better meet user needs. Content workflow management: Coordinate the content workflow with other editors and Subject Matter Experts. Continuously update the content workflow plan to ensure smooth delivery. Design collaboration: Work with the design team during the content audit/review process. Identify design needs for each page and collaborate on the delivery of assets like graphics, photos, and illustrations. Competitor research: Analyse competitor websites to identify content gaps and opportunities. Use these insights to enhance our website content. Long form content development: Re-develop and re-write copy for all of our pillar content to help ensure topical authority on the site. Collaborate with subject matter experts to combine insights from both Texthelp and n2y. What you bring: Experience: Significant experience in copywriting for the web, preferably within SaaS, education or B2B environments. Proven skills: Demonstrated ability to craft persuasive copy that drives engagement and conversions. Writing excellence: Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with an eye for detail. Creativity: Ability to think creatively and generate innovative ideas that stand out. Strategic thinking: Understand how to align copywriting efforts with audience needs and business goals. Analytical mindset: Comfortable working with data to inform and optimise your copy and content. Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, valuing diverse perspectives. SEO knowledge: Strong understanding of SEO best practices and how to optimise content for search engines. Essential Criteria Educated to degree level (ideally in marketing. communications or journalism discipline) with a minimum of 2 years’ relevant B2B marketing experience 2 years’ experience of: Writing for the web, with proven ability to wireframe and create accessible, readable content Using data and metrics to both define and optimise content Understanding of search engine optimisation (SEO) Proficiency with tools such as SEMRush or AHrefs Strong content management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
