The Team & Focus of the Role
Do you want to join our creative and innovative Business Development & Communications team? As Social Media Officer, you’ll manage our social presence producing engaging content, raising external engagement and providing reports on what is working well. You will have a high level of knowledge of different social media channels and have a real passion for engaging our communities in our business activities through videos, graphics and other creative content. You’ll understand which social platforms are the right fit for our different audiences and look for new ways to engage our audiences. We're looking for someone who is keen to get out to other offices and events, aiding others with video content and quotes so networking and communication skills are essential.
You will be the voice of Fisher German through our social media and ensure our output is aligned to our ‘OneFG’ approach, social media strategy and stringent brand guidelines. You will work closely with the wider team to align key messaging across internal and external platforms and give external audiences a positive view of Fisher German, our work and our clients. The ability to communicate creatively and build relationships with multiple stakeholders across the business and with external partners is essential for the role.
This is a full-time role (37.5 hours per week), Monday to Friday. We also operate a hybrid working policy.

Duties will include:
* Administer the firm’s central social media accounts and manage key stakeholders LinkedIn profiles
* Work closely with the Agency Social Media Officer, Head of Marketing and PR Manager to ensure consistency of brand and voice and alignment on focus campaigns and topics.
* Work closely with stakeholders from across the business to generate creative content in line with our vision and values, using a range of methods including infographics and videos.
* Ensure continuity and timeliness between the firm’s PR activity and social media content, building close and trusted relationships with our chosen suppliers.
* Responsible for the social media strategy and colleague guide, updating at regular intervals to ensure it remains relevant and aligns with wider marketing strategy
* Collaborate with our Talent Acquisition and Early Careers teams to ensure vacancies are advertised appropriately and social media channels accurately reflect our employer brand approach.
* Build strong relationships with Division and Department representatives to ensure output accurately reflects our business activities.
* Be the in-house guru for social media guidance for the business and uphold quality standards across platforms. Deliver inductions to new starters, training sessions and provide support to colleagues on LinkedIn and the appropriate use of social media for business as required.
* Provide a first line of support for any complaints raised through social media and ensure these are appropriately handled and passed to the Compliance team.
* Build engagement across social media channels through quality, organic content as well as PPC campaigns as required.
* Report on social media engagement and activity monthly and make recommendations on where we can improve.
* Manage all published content & assets on social media, including images, videos, GIFs and written copy, Research and recommend new approaches and trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design and strategy.
The successful candidate will have...
Essential Skills
* 2+ years’ experience in a role where social media management is required. We will also consider applicants who have built experience and knowledge through personal social presence.
* A sound working knowledge of LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube and their reporting mechanisms, including experience of setting up and reporting on PPC campaigns
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines. Excellent grasp of grammar and punctuation, with a minimum A-level equivalent in English Language / English Literature or similar subject.
* Self-starter, with a willingness to develop their social media knowledge, keeping up to date with new trends and platform developments
* Excellent organisational, planning and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure.
* Creative and confident communicator and content generator who is willing to share their ideas and try new approaches.
* Strong desire and focus to deliver added value.
* Team player.
* Full UK Driving License.
Desirable Skills
* Experience working in the Property Sector or a multi-sector/multi-market organisation.
* Confident using the Adobe suite, including Photoshop, InDesign, and/or Premiere Pro
* A relevant communications or marketing qualification would be beneficial but not essential.
