This role would be suited to a skilled content creator or social producer who lives and breathes social media, understands digital storytelling, and stays ahead of cultural trends. You know the Roman Empire is more than togas and sandals, not all apples are rotten right to the core, and every dolphin just wants to be part of your symphony.
We’re looking for a bold storyteller who can turn complex financial topics into content that stops the scroll and helps make Australians smarter with their money.
About you
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in communications, marketing, media production, advertising, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
* 3-5 years of hands-on experience owning and managing brand social media channels with a unique and creative presence (agency or in-house).
* Proven ability to concept, produce, and edit high-quality social-first video content (experience with tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, CapCut, or similar is a plus).
* Deep knowledge of online culture, trends, and the evolving social media landscape, with an instinct for what makes content shareable and engaging.
* Strong creative copywriting skills with the ability to write compelling, platform-appropriate captions and scripts.
* Experience in community management as a brand-building tool, going beyond reactive responses to actively engaging with audiences.
* Understanding of performance analytics and ability to adjust strategies based on data insights.
