We are very excited to be working with a fabulous multi-sited firm experiencing continued growth - they are looking to expand their payroll team and take on an additional team member.
This role would suit someone with previous experience in payroll, either within an accountancy practice or a payroll bureau. A flexible, approachable, determined attitude is essential, and the desire to actively contribute to the firm's ongoing success.
The role will include:
1. Liaising with clients and entering payroll data from start to finish accurately
2. Reconciling payroll to client data, getting client approval as appropriate and issuing payroll reports & payslips
3. Preparing payroll journals
4. Reconciling weekly and monthly PAYE figures
5. Administering Pension Auto-enrolment including making appropriate declarations to The Pensions Regulator
6. Producing and distributing pension scheme returns, including notification of changes in members’ status and uploading to pension provider
7. Dealing effectively with queries from clients and HMRC
