We are seeking a Maintenance/Handy Person to join our Residential Care and Nursing Home team based in Manchester M13 0AR You will receive a pay package of £14.00 per hour and there is free parking and free meals What you will need To have experience and good knowledge of general maintenance work with basic skills in plumbing, electrical, joinery and be a general all-rounder. To be able to paint, wallpaper and decorate to a high standard To be proactive and reactive with the ability to prioritise tasks. Have a clean driving license is required Being legally qualified to drive a 12 seater mini bus would be advantageous (D1 License). Experience of working in a care environment would be advantageous but not essential. Ability to complete routine monitoring checks throughout the Home log and record results. DBS check will be required Two references The role Undertaking on a daily basis maintenance tasks around the Home, which could be painting and decorating, plumbing, electrical, joinery and any other task required to fulfil this role within your capabilities. Driving a car, light van or minibus; keeping the vehicles of the Home in a good clean condition, and maintaining appropriate records of maintenance to all vehicles.
