About The Role As a Transport Services Driver, you will be responsible for: Driving and operating a range of vehicles to provide transport services for children, adults, and vulnerable individuals. Ensuring the safety and well-being of passengers during transport. Collecting and delivering passengers to designated locations. Conducting daily vehicle checks and reporting any maintenance issues. Maintaining accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle usage. Adhering to relevant legislation, regulations, and Council policies. About You The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and attributes: Hold a valid UK driving licence with category B entitlement. Experience in driving and operating vehicles, preferably in a passenger transport environment. Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations related to passenger transport. Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to interact positively with passengers. Good communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge.
