Are you passionate about leading and making a positive impact in a dental care setting? We're delighted to invite you to consider joining our team at Scottish Dental Care as an Operational Supervisor at our Linlithgow Practice.
About the Role:
As Operational Supervisor, you'll ensure our clinic runs smoothly on a day-to-day basis. Working closely with our Deputy Operations Manager, you'll provide leadership to our dental nursing team, coordinate staff activities, and ensure that all essential tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
What You'll Do:
1. Manage clinical areas, providing invaluable chairside assistance to our patients and ensuring their comfort and well-being.
2. Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
3. Handle financial administration, including managing banking deposits, handling patient payments, and completing necessary paperwork.
4. Ensure our patient recall system runs smoothly and handle patient queries with care and professionalism.
5. Manage appointments, handle patient payments, and keep our practice documentation in order.
6. Monitor staffing levels, hold monthly practice meetings, and be involved in various other aspects of our clinic's operations.
About You:
We're seeking a GDC-registered Dental Nurse with experience in both NHS and private practices. Ideally, you have held a lead role or have extensive post-qualification experience. While familiarity with SOE software is preferred, it's not essential. You should be confident, motivated, and naturally proactive, with exceptional organisational skills and the ability to inspire others, making you a perfect fit for our collaborative team environment.
What We Offer:
At Scottish Dental Care, we believe in rewarding our team members. You’ll receive an additional day’s holiday or a day’s pay for your birthday, annual GDC registration paid, and a contributory pension scheme. We cover your indemnity insurance and provide numerous career development opportunities, including the chance to complete post-qualifications. Enjoy a Dentinal Tubules CPD membership, participate in our annual CPD weekends, and benefit from mentorship within our experienced teams. We are proud to invite our Dental Nurses to an annual CPD day where you can learn and share in our culture of continuous improvement.
While we’ve outlined some key responsibilities here, we’re also open to your ideas and input. Your role may evolve over time, and we’re excited to see how you can help shape the future of our clinic!
