Initial training will be provided at Lincoln county hospital, following this there may be the opportunity to work from home. The post holder may be required to support with the acute work and requires cross site working. Medical Examiners administration underpins the bereaved's journey, supports Medical Examiner Officers and Medical Examiners in delivering high quality service to the bereaved and can make a real difference to their experience. Effective and efficient administration within this service supports management through ensuring a high standard of data quality and by making the best use of capacity and resources. Assists and supports the Medical Examiners and Officers in providing an efficient Medical Examiner's service Updates the shared spreadsheets and ensures all information is entered Creates appointments with doctors for them to come to the office and complete the necessary paperwork following someone death To support with service promotion and encourage engagement from the medical teams. Provides cover for colleagues in their absence to maintain service levels Lincoln Hospital is a thriving university city and with the opening of the medical school, it provides all major specialties and a 24-hour major accident and emergency service United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust has been granted teaching hospital status, after demonstrating evidence to significant teaching commitment. It provides all major specialties and a 24-hour major accident and emergency service. Grantham and District Hospital serves the communities of Grantham and the local area. It provides ambulatory paediatric and accident and emergency services. Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust (LCHS) and United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust (ULHT) have come together in a Group arrangement, with the goal of improving the care provided to patients across the county. This will not constitute a formal merger of the two organisations, but will bring the Trusts together under a single Board and Executive Leadership Team, with the goal of improving the care that is provided to patients both in the community and in hospitals across Lincolnshire.
