The role involves coordinating engineers, planning maintenance schedules, and ensuring smooth operational delivery. Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (40 hours/week, 30 mins unpaid lunch). Key Responsibilities Diary Management: Coordinate engineers’ schedules, taking into account logistics, health and safety, and work hour limits. Job Planning: Ensure all requirements for each site are met, including materials, permits, and tools. Client Communication: Keep customers informed of updates, delays, or changes in schedules. Stock Management: Monitor van inventories to ensure engineers are equipped for future tasks. Problem Solving: Resolve technical or scheduling challenges, collaborating with other departments as needed. Reporting : Support the management team with data for overtime, material costs, and performance metrics. Your Skills and Attributes Organisation : Exceptional ability to juggle multiple tasks and prioritise effectively. Communication : Professional and confident in liaising with both customers and team members. Problem-solving: Adaptable and resourceful when faced with challenges. Technical Skills: Intermediate Excel proficiency and experience with online systems (testing at interview). Essential Qualifications Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
