Working closely with Engineering Compliance Manager, the Engineering Compliance Coordinator is responsible for providing support with activities related to Quality, Compliance and EHS, to ensure high standards of compliance are always maintained. Your role will extend to the provision of Engineering compliance support to the Engineering Management team and wider Central Engineering Department.
Key Responsibilities:
* To provide a comprehensive engineering compliance role to support all aspects of the engineering department.
* Responsible for supporting Engineering Compliance Manager with engineering specific metric reporting including creation of new reports and metric development when requested related to Quality, EHS and Engineering compliance activities.
* Responsible for supporting Engineering Compliance Lead with engineering owned Standard Operating Procedures from a training perspective, engineering document store and associated document management database, MyLearning system within Engineering including acting as a point of contact for Learning and Development team for Engineering
* Responsible for maintaining and supporting business systems to ensure continuous compliance and improvement by the relevant department, including the risk management process, training system, Quality Management System, regulatory, Engineering and EHS standards.
* Responsible for implementing new systems and processes within the department by ensuring appropriate training materials are developed and effective training delivered.
* Responsible for assisting in the design and deployment of training materials and training packages.
* Responsible for being point of contact for Data Integrity within Central Engineering.
* Support the Engineering Management team with the co-ordination of inspection readiness activities for both internal and external inspections. Support completion of Quality and EHS self-inspections for the area.
About You:
This role would suit a driven and motivated person who has experience of working in a Compliance role within an EFM or GMP environment. You will have a strong continuous improvement growth mindset and a willingness to work towards (and manage the implementation of) standardised and lean working practices.
Strong people skills and a proven ability to work in a team (eg; flexible approach, good communication, planning and organizational skills) are considered essential for the role.
About Ware Manufacturing Site:
We are co-located with our R&D colleagues and recently opened a new, state-of-the-art oral solid dose facility at Ware. At this location our scientists, technicians and engineers (from R&D and Global Supply Chain – GSC) work collaboratively together (using the latest technologies) to rapidly knowledge transfer and deliver GSK’s most innovative, medicines faster and more efficiently. On site we produce over 60 million respiratory inhalers each year with growing demand in future years. The site also processes Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) for use both on site and other manufacturing sites in our network.

Basic Qualifications:
• Relevant qualifications and / or experience (eg; supply-chain or compliance management).
• Good understanding of GMP and engineering compliance methodologies.
