In this job you’ll build, deploy and support our chat and messaging platforms used by thousands of customers daily. Focused on delivering a brilliant customer experience, you’ll ensure they quickly get to the right information and support for their needs. All this will be delivered on a platform that’s available 24/7 and underpinned by intelligent bots, which augment the work of our customer service agents and improve the efficiency of our chat and messaging channel.
What you’ll be doing
You will be operating as a FrontEnd Engineer in a squad of 13. This is one of 6 squads in the tribe model. You'll be working on software that personalises the customers sales journey and ultimately this will drive revenue growth for the business.
You will:
1. Create scalable and quality code.
2. Collaborate effectively with your team members and share best practices.
3. Sync with your manager on plans and help execute them within the squad.
4. Govern the technical roadmap for your squad proactively.
5. Collaborate with the Product Owner, Developers, Tester, Lead Engineer, Cloud Engineer, Deployment, and Leadership team.
6. Contribute to enhancing the ecosystem you are working on.
7. Ensure strong technical standards in your squad and the right balance between delivery and quality.
8. Identify opportunities to streamline and automate processes where possible.
Specific Responsibilities
Working in the Aimee Tech and Early Life Squad, you will closely collaborate with the Product Owner, Scrum Master, Engineers, BAs, QAs, and Designers. You will assist with the development of journeys within the strategic Messaging and Chat Platform – Sprinklr.
Key Decisions
You will have direct input on the architecture and strategy for the Cloud framework and design system, ensuring security, safety, and performance of live capability.
Skills and Experiences
We are ideally looking for a Full Stack Developer who is comfortable working more on the FrontEnd than Backend, or a FrontEnd Developer who has a good understanding of the SDLC and a customer-focused approach from gathering requirements through to releasing to customers.
Primary Skills
* HTML / CSS
* Test Automation experience with ideally Selenium/WebDriver
* Agile and Lean culture: Work to the standards set out in the squad, aligning with Scrum Master, Product Owner, and Lead Engineer.
* Basic knowledge of structuring code with sustainable practices for scalability and maintainability.
* Dart / Flutter
* Prompt Engineering
* Data Analysis / ML
* API Design
* Chat & Messaging: Developing software to support Contact Centre Operation Teams
* Ability to recognize and address technical risks and overcome potential obstacles proactively.
* Awareness of industry trends, emerging technologies, and software engineering best practices to support team learning and encourage innovation.
