Commercial Revenue Analyst
Full Time, Permanent - 37.5 hours per week
Hybrid Working - WFH & Kirkstall Forge, Leeds
Salary - £39,000
Summary:
The UK Care Services Finance team forms part of the Finance & Commercial function within Bupa UK. This team leads and is responsible for all the financial aspects of the Care Services business unit, ensuring effective delivery of the strategic agenda and the three-year plan in the most cost-effective way.
The Commercial Revenue Analyst role is a key support for the Commercial finance partner to assist in preparing and delivering data analysis for action.
Accountabilities & Activities:
Key activities include but are not limited to:
* Preparation of large data sets.
* Detailed reviews of specific resident costs to produce fee negotiation guidance ranges.
* Proactively analysing data to trigger commercial reviews due to changes in resident dependency.
* Closely monitoring new financial declaration data to trigger wealth depletion conversations.
* Work closely with the PS team/care homes to add relevant resident costing details to fee negotiations.
* Analyse Public sector funder book to spot cost of care gaps to trigger PS team conversations.
* Accurately track the financial impact of commercial team interventions.
* Monitor changes in resident care needs to trigger FNC applications.
* Liaise with homes to ensure resident info is correctly recorded, to ensure revenue integrity & aid uplift reviews.
* Prepare ad hoc commercial finance analysis.
Qualifications, Training & Experience Required:
* A good understanding of and experience in using Microsoft Excel including formulas and pivot tables.
* A high level of attention to detail.
* Flexible approach to workload as business requirements change.
* Good communicator in both verbal and written forms.
* Well-organised with effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
* Flexible, dependable, and adaptable to change.
* Self-motivated and passionate to achieve results and positive outcomes.
* Experience and knowledge in the healthcare sector is desirable.
