Your new company is a UK-based food company that specializes in the production and supply of high-quality products. With a headcount of 1200, the company has shown consistent growth. They are looking for an HR Advisor to join their energetic team. No day will be the same, with opportunities to partner with managers to implement projects, as well as manage your own department and evolve with the organization.
Your new role
Acting as part of a hands-on HR team, you will be responsible for the front-line HR service. You will:
1. Contribute to and drive HR objectives and ensure the business is supported to attract, engage, and retain talented people for the future.
2. Provide HR guidance and advice to our Supervisors and Managers covering all stages of the employee lifecycle, from attraction and recruitment through development and exit.
3. Support Managers with a range of HR topics, including employee relations (disciplinaries, absence management, grievances), employee engagement, and managing performance.
4. Report HR KPIs, identify trends, and proactively influence these to improve upon targets (e.g. retention, absence, turnover).
5. Be part of site initiatives to improve employee engagement and communication.
6. Support our passionate, hardworking HR team in our aim to attract, engage, and retain the best people for our businesses.
What you'll need to succeed
To have previous generalist HR experience in a fast-paced environment and enjoy partnering closely with the business to add commercial value. You should:
* Be CIPD qualified (ideally level 5, minimum level 3).
* Be confident in your decision-making and have strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
