About Us
Nested Loop is on a mission to revolutionize home energy storage in the UK. Our smart energy storage system, the Nested Loop One, helps homeowners maximise savings while reducing their carbon footprint. As we prepare for market launch, we’re looking for a dynamic Chief Sales Officer (CSO) to lead our growth strategy and drive sales across multiple channels.
The leadership team is based in Birmingham and Hull, but we are open to candidates from across the span of the UK.
The Role
As our Chief Sales Officer (CSO), you will spearhead our sales and marketing strategy, helping to establish Nested Loop as the go-to brand for intelligent energy storage solutions. This role is a co-founder opportunity, starting as an equity-based position before transitioning into a paid role later in the year.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute a go-to-market sales strategy to drive customer adoption and revenue growth.
* Lead direct sales initiatives, including door-to-door sales and strategic partnerships.
* Build and scale an internal sales and field sales team to drive customer acquisition.
* Oversee marketing efforts, including digital campaigns, social media, email marketing, and lead generation.
* Forge partnerships with solar installers, home energy providers, and industry influencers to boost brand visibility.
* Work closely with the product team to ensure sales strategies align with customer needs and market trends.
* Analyse sales data, identify key trends, and adjust strategies to maximize performance.
What We’re Looking For
* Track record in sales leadership, business development, or growth marketing in the solar or renewable energy sector.
* The ability to deliver impact on a budget
* Experience in door-to-door sales or direct-to-consumer sales models (a strong plus).
* Ability to build and lead a high-performance sales team from the ground up.
* Strong understanding of B2C and B2B sales strategies.
* Experience with email marketing and leveraging it as a key sales channel.
* Entrepreneurial mindset, ready to take ownership and drive results.
* Passion for clean energy, sustainability, and disruptive technology.
