Job Title: HR Generalist

Salary: £21.14 PAYE
Length: 6 month initial contract
Job Summary: We are seeking a proactive and experienced HR Generalist to join our team at the Stafford Facility. In this role, you will support a variety of HR initiatives, including employee relations, talent development, and leadership training. The ideal candidate will have strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills, with a focus on driving engagement and supporting HR improvement projects.
Key Responsibilities:
1. HR Improvement Projects:
Oversee the employee induction process.Lead and follow up on employee engagement initiatives.Support leaders with action planning and implementing HR processes such as discipline, grievance handling, and leadership induction.Promote policy awareness and ensure compliance with company guidelines.
2. Data Privacy & GDPR Compliance:
Serve as the Facility Risk Owner for data privacy.Conduct self-assessments and maintain control over data privacy procedures.Ensure full GDPR compliance across the facility.
3. Talent Development:
Coordinate and scope out talent development and training initiatives.Support in identifying opportunities for employee growth and development.
4. Employee Relations:
Assist with employee relations processes and case work.Provide ad hoc support for various HR activities to ensure a smooth and compliant work environment.
Additional Responsibilities:
5. Make recommendations on staffing, turnover, training, and performance management.
6. Administer compensation programs and manage performance evaluation processes.
7. Handle employee relations, outplacement counselling, and exit interviews.
8. Conduct organisational assessments and recommend programs to address any challenges.
Skills & Qualifications:
9. Education: Degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources or a related field.
10. Experience:Demonstrated experience in HR processes, employee relations, talent management, and leadership development.Proficient knowledge of HR policies, standards, and regulations, including GDPR.Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
11. Technical Skills:Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Experience with HR systems and data reporting.Strong analytical, decision-making, and critical thinking abilities.
12. Communication & Interpersonal Skills:Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work collaboratively with various teams and departments.Experience in leading and training teams.
