Elevation Accountancy and Finance were delighted to be working with a fantastic business in Wetherby as they look to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant into their team on a full time, permanent basis.Responsibilities: Monitor and maintain main accounts email and action urgent requests Bank reconciliations Raising Bank payments Maintain fixed asset register Raise sales invoices including processing rental income statements Processing sales and purchase transactions along with checking completion statements Manage supplier accounts and reconcile statements Maintain daily ledgers including monitoring and updating the system Submit meter reads and download utility invoices Assist with the Company’s annual audit Ad-hoc analysis of company expense lines Reconcile balance sheet accounts Monitoring and updating cashflow on a daily basis Assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts for review Posting of accruals & prepayments Reconcile loan accounts Process loan documentation for cashflow purposes and audit purposes Any ad hoc duties as required by senior management including high level excel based reporting Person Specification: Excellent telephone manner and ability to build rapport. 2 years accounts experience Advanced use of Microsoft excel Being flexible and taking an active part in the implementation of new practices and processes.
