Due to the continued growth of our In-House Maintenance Service, we are currently looking to add Multi Traders with knowledge and experience of dealing with damp and mould to help resolve customer enquiries and issues. Reporting to a Maintenance Supervisor you will be working in a Multi Trade role and will deliver a high standard of damp, mould and remediation works alongside general Multi Trade tasks such as plumbing, carpentry, plastering and decorating. This will include the application of industry-standard techniques and products to address damp and mould issues whilst stringently adhering to all policies, procedures, processes, controls, systems, required training and record keeping. You will ensure that we operate in a safe, customer centric, environmentally ethical, and accountable way and maximise your first time fix rate. You will: Assess and diagnose damp and mould problems Wash and clean affected surfaces within customer’s homes. Treat damp and mould with specified mould treatments. Carrying out minor repair works. Be responsible for accurate recording of tasks and liaising with the scheduling team. Apply your technical knowledge, skills, and training to complete the repairs assigned to you in a safe, efficient manner. Taking care that they are of high quality, comply with technical specifications and provide a long-lasting solution. Provide reports on factors within that are a cause of damp and mould. Deliver and maintain excellent customer service at all times We are looking for someone with… Experience in treating damp and mould Knowledge of industry-standard techniques and products for damp and mould remediation Experience of the construction industry, including trades, materials, processes, and Health & Safety especially within a social housing context. Ability to operate in a positive, organised, efficient and self-motivated way.
