We’re looking for a Brand Manager to take the lead in unifying our marketing efforts across all three brands. You’ll act as our brand guardian, ensuring consistency and clarity in everything we do, while focusing on growing our flagship holiday rentals business, The Point Holidays.
What the Role Entails
As our Brand Manager, you’ll bring strategic vision and hands-on expertise to develop and deliver marketing that drives engagement, enhances customer experiences, and grows revenue across our businesses. Working closely with the Managing Director, stakeholders, and a Marketing Executive, you’ll ensure every aspect of our messaging reflects our values and connects with diverse audiences.
This role requires creativity, leadership, and a strong understanding of the local and UK hospitality market.
Key Responsibilities
Brand Leadership and Strategy
* Act as the brand guardian, maintaining a unified identity across The Point at Polzeath, The Point Holidays, and Koto at The Point.
* Develop and implement a cohesive marketing strategy that aligns with our goals while respecting the distinct qualities of each brand.
* Work with key stakeholders to refine brand messaging and ensure it resonates with our target audiences, from local golfers to holidaymakers and second homeowners.
The Point Holidays Focus
* Take ownership of marketing for The Point Holidays, promoting our rental properties as the go-to option for North Cornwall breaks.
* Plan and execute seasonal campaigns, balancing peak demand with creative strategies to attract off-peak bookings.
* Collaborate with the operations and reservations teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Campaign Management and Digital Marketing
* Create and deliver targeted campaigns across social media, email marketing, and paid media channels to drive engagement and bookings.
* Oversee website updates to improve usability, reflect brand consistency, and enhance the customer journey.
* Use analytics tools to monitor performance, identify trends, and optimise strategies for maximum ROI.
Content Creation and Storytelling
* Lead the development of high-quality content that showcases Cornwall’s natural beauty, our properties, and the lifestyle we offer.
* Build a content library of professional imagery, video, and copy for use across campaigns.
* Champion storytelling that authentically connects with audiences, emphasising our commitment to quality, community, and sustainability.
Team Leadership and Partnerships
* Support and mentor the Marketing Executive, delegating effectively to ensure the smooth execution of campaigns.
* Forge partnerships with local businesses, influencers, and creatives to expand our reach and enhance our offerings.
* Collaborate with internal teams to align marketing with wider business objectives.
Who We’re Looking For
This role is ideal for someone with a blend of strategic and hands-on experience who thrives in a dynamic environment.
Essential Experience and Skills
* At least 5 years of experience in a marketing role, ideally within the hospitality, lifestyle, or tourism sectors in the UK.
* Strong understanding of the Cornish market and its unique challenges and opportunities.
* Proven ability to develop and implement multi-channel marketing campaigns.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an eye for detail and design.
* Experience with digital tools like Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager and email marketing platforms.
* A creative mindset, with the ability to craft compelling content and lead storytelling efforts.
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
* Experience in SEO and website optimisation.
* Knowledge of design software or the ability to brief external creatives effectively.
