Oversee and enhance public health initiatives for healthy adults, including sexual health, tobacco control, and long-term condition prevention. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective strategic commissioning of health services. Engage with community partners to foster equity in health outcomes across boroughs. Adapt and manage a flexible portfolio of workstreams based on organisational needs. Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience): Accredited Consultant in Public Health. Proven experience in public health leadership and strategic commissioning. In-depth knowledge of health inequalities and health promotion strategies. Demonstrable skills in managing diverse health initiatives and community engagement. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders. Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience): Experience in portfolio management across multiple health areas. Familiarity with mental health, substance misuse, and weight management strategies. Understanding of the health needs of diverse population subgroups. Previous involvement in co-production programmes and community-based health projects. Technologies: Proficiency in public health data analysis tools and reporting systems. Familiarity with electronic health records and health information systems.
