Salary: Teachers Pay Scale £30,000 - £46,525 per annum

Job Overview
Layton Primary School wishes to appoint a passionate and inspirational Early Years Lead and Foundation Stage practitioner who wants to inspire our youngest children to be values driven, to be curious about the world around them, and to develop excellent language and communication skills, loving reading, writing, and mathematics, with high aspirations for their futures. This is an exciting opportunity for a current or aspiring EYFS leader to lead and further develop our current EYFS provision.
Responsibilities
1. Teaching a Foundation Stage class.
2. Being part of our middle-leadership team, contributing to wider school priorities.
3. Developing and mentoring a team of teachers, Learning Support Assistants, and Specialist Support Assistants.
4. Providing consistently high-quality learning opportunities for all pupils.
5. Fostering a diverse and inclusive environment for all children.
Qualifications
The successful applicant will have a strong understanding of child pedagogical development at this crucial stage. They must have a sound understanding of the impact of developing spoken language and its impact on the wider curriculum.
