We have an exciting opportunity to join our Glasgow East Housing Support service as Support Practitioner on a part-time basis (30 hours per week). Due to the nature of this role, we can only accept applications from male candidates. The role: As a Support Practitioner, you will predominantly be supporting a service user with autism and personality disorder. Therefore, experience in these fields would be advantageous. Our service user wants to live his life to the fullest, so we are seeking someone energetic, with excellent communication skills. As well as supporting this particular individual, the successful candidate will support other service users across the Glasgow East service. To be an amazing Support Practitioner, we'll need you to: Have an empathetic and caring nature Excellent verbal and written communication skills IT literate Be able to work well in a team environment and on your own Good organisational skills Shift Patterns: Our dedicated team provide tailored support 24/7 and shift patterns include working days, evenings, sleepovers, weekends and bank/public holidays. The sleepover part of your shift is not included in your contracted hours so for every sleepover you cover you will be paid an additional £99.20.
