Grade: Band E, SCP 18 - 25 (£30,559 - £35,235 per annum pro rata)
Hours: 32.5 hours per week (8:15am – 3:45pm Mon-Fri), TTO + training days

Lightwoods Primary Academy are looking to recruit a Temporary Higher Level Teaching Assistant to cover Maternity leave.

The successful candidate will:
* Complement the professional work of teachers by taking responsibility for agreed learning activities under an agreed system of supervision.
* Provide Preparation, Planning and Assessment (PPA) cover with a significant commitment to whole class teaching.
* Work collaboratively with class teachers to plan and deliver learning activities for individuals/groups, monitoring and assessing pupils and recording and reporting pupils achievement, progress and development whilst promoting the values and ethos of the school and Trust.
* Be responsible for the management and development of specialist areas within the school and management of other adults if required including allocation and monitoring of work, mentoring and training.
