Our Salutem Supported Living East Region is recruiting! Covering Kettering, Peterborough, and Cambridge, we are seeking a Team Leader to oversee our teams providing care and support for adults with learning disabilities, autism, physical disabilities, and mental health issues. Our supported living service offers individuals the opportunity to live independently and develop essential life skills.
The individuals we support include Mathew, who recently achieved his entry-level sailing certificate! He is an adrenaline junkie who loves theme parks and enjoys ending the day at the pub. Others enjoy attending discos, barbecues in summer, and playing in the snow during winter.
Every day is an adventure, supporting individuals to lead independent lives, create memories, and fulfill dreams.
About The Role
To succeed, you must hold a full UK Driver's license and have access to your own vehicle.
As a Team Leader, you will assist the Registered Manager in managing daily operations, ensuring the needs of service users are met, supervising staff, monitoring care quality, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.
You will help plan, implement, supervise, and evaluate care and support, ensuring policies and procedures are followed. Motivating and empowering your team, you will lead by example, promoting best practices and enabling individuals to make choices, live fully, and develop life skills.
Requirements include working towards NVQ/Diploma in Health and Social Care Level 3/5. Experience with communication difficulties and knowledge of CQC regulations, the Mental Capacity Act, and the Deprivation of Liberty Standards are desirable.
