Transport & Warehouse Manager
Pertemps are currently recruiting for a Transport & Warehouse Manager to join a specialist builders merchant based in Andover. Our client is looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and hard-working individual to join a growing business who pride themselves on providing an unparalleled service to all their customers.
Responsibilities as a Transport & Warehouse Manager:
1. Ensuring all routing is completed in a timely and efficient manner.
2. Ensure that all customer orders are processed and dispatched to meet time frames.
3. Responsible for all H&S within the warehouse.
4. Planning and management of all drivers.
5. Provide excellent support and build key supplier relationships.
6. Running and attending team meetings.
7. Ensuring all company vehicles are loaded in a safe and tidy manner.
8. Planning and co-ordination of all inventory management activities.
Requirements:
1. Minimum of 12 months experience in a similar role.
2. Proven experience of improving operations in terms of costs, material handling, pick accuracy and delivery.
3. People management skills.
4. In depth knowledge of supply chain management.
5. Strong communication and leadership skills.
The Role:
1. £36,000 per annum.
2. Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm.
3. 22 days holiday, increasing with long service.
