We are looking for experienced engineers from a process-driven environment - ideally from distilling, chemical, food & beverage, or similar industries - who are passionate about preventative maintenance, continuous improvement, and fault finding in highly regulated environments. Key Responsibilities: Carry out preventative maintenance, repairs, and installations across multiple sites. Engage with daily operations and maintenance planning teams to prioritise tasks. Fault finding on electrical, mechanical, and pneumatically controlled equipment. Work safely in potentially hazardous environments, ensuring compliance with company & legislative standards. Support continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on root cause analysis (5Y, RCPS). Use CMMS systems to log, track, and plan maintenance work efficiently. Assist with shutdown planning and contractor management. Collaborate with OEMs and external specialists to resolve complex issues. What We’re Looking For: Time-served Engineer with a Mechanical, Electrical, or Multi-Skilled background. Proven experience in a process-driven maintenance environment (e.g., Distilling, Chemicals, Food & Beverage). Strong problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis and 5 Why methodology. Hands-on experience managing and optimising CMMS systems. COMPEX certified (or willing to attain, if Electrical Bias). In-depth knowledge of PLC automation, Variable Speed Drives (VSDs), and instrumentation control loops (4-20mA, 0-10V) (if Electrical Bias). IOSH or NEBOSH certified (or willing to attain). Ability to work independently, manage priorities effectively, and thrive in a high-performing team environment.
