Your new company Hays are working with a charity, recruiting for a temporary Programme (Community Partnership) Officer to be responsible for the provision of development, support and guidance to company-funded Community Partner organisations that deliver support and services. Your new role Work with community partners, stakeholders, and the voluntary sector to develop support services Assist partner organisations in preparing, implementing, and monitoring strategic and operational plans. Develop and engage in outcome-focused monitoring and evaluation systems to analyse the impact of support on health and wellbeing. Supervise staff, allocate work, and monitor performance. Prepare guidance notes and provide advice on managing grants. Update policies and procedures related to grant funding. Provide formal reports on outcomes achieved through development work. Identify training needs and assist in building capacity for quality services. Attend relevant committee and working group meetings. Ensure proper record keeping and database updates. Assist in developing and monitoring business plan targets and key performance indicators. Represent the organisation at public events and provide advice to senior management. Prepare reports, attend meetings, and represent the organisation in various activities. Be responsive and solution-focused to optimise project and program delivery. Uphold the organisation's reputation in external communications. Work with HR to ensure proper staffing and implementation of HR policies. Manage recruitment processes and supervision arrangements. Provide supervision and specialist training to staff. Lead and support team members, ensuring effective communication and smooth operations. Promote a culture of effective teamwork, continuous improvement, and innovation. What you'll need to succeed Minimum 3 years' experience of programme or project experience working within the community and voluntary sector. Practical experience of developing positive relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders across the community and voluntary sector. Experience in staff management and/or co-ordinating team activities. Practical experience developing Monitoring and Evaluation frameworks and monitoring progress against key outcomes.
