We are Ashley & McDonough, a Liverpool-based compliance business delivering excellence across the North West, Cumbria, and South Yorkshire. With a proud history of supporting communities and a reputation for quality, we are expanding our Fire and Life Systems team. We're looking for an experienced leader to head up service delivery, ensuring client SLAs are met and our Fire Systems and Access Service Department operates efficiently and in line with our company standards.

What You'll Be Doing
* Leading operations through an existing team lead, recruiting, and developing the engineering team.
* Becoming the technical face of the business for clients and suppliers.
* Coordinating with contractors and suppliers.
* Managing the resolution of any escalations.
* Hiring and supporting the development of new employees.
* Driving process improvements and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Managing the P&L for the department.
* Ensuring work quality aligns with best practice, Ashley & McDonough and client standards.
* Managing and delegating engineering escalations.
* Attending monthly management meetings and contributing to the senior management team.
* Build strong, effective client relationships through regular meetings and excellent service delivery.
* Ensuring a safe and secure working environment for all employees and customers.
* Monitoring the performance and compliance of approved sub-contractors and suppliers.
What We Need From You
* Experience & Skills:
* Ideally 2 - 5 years of experience in a Fire Systems Management role.
* Experience managing projects effectively, ensuring timely delivery and budget compliance.
* Strong technical knowledge of fire and Life systems.
* Detailed knowledge and experience of LPS standards.
* A track record of recruiting, managing, developing, and leading a team.
* The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions confidently.
* Strong organisational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines, deliver KPIs, and fulfil SLAs.
* Commercial awareness and excellent customer service skills.
* Proven ability to provide process and service enhancements while identifying opportunities for improvement.
* A customer-focused approach, with the ability to build successful relationships and provide first-class service.
* Full UK Driving Licence.

* Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
