We are looking for a Cleaning Engineer to work 45 hours per week at a rate of £13 per hour. The role involves traveling to various locations, so a valid driving license is required. The position starts with a mandatory training day on Friday, January 3rd, in Birmingham.
Hours:
Sunday to Thursday Nights approximately 21:00 Start
Key Responsibilities
1. Driving to multiple commercial and industrial sites to clean and maintain various equipment, such as refrigerators, freezers, and other specialised appliances.
2. Performing technical assessments of equipment to identify maintenance needs and ensure functionality.
3. Cleaning and servicing mechanical components to prevent breakdowns and improve efficiency.
4. Working in diverse environments, including cold outdoor conditions and indoor spaces, to deliver high-quality service.
5. Handling residues, spills, and other debris while ensuring equipment is sanitized and operational.
6. Maintaining proper use and care of cleaning and maintenance tools, adhering to safety and operational standards.
Requirements
1. Valid Driving License: A full driving license is essential as travel between sites is required.
2. Technical Aptitude: Basic understanding of mechanical systems or a willingness to learn about the technical aspects of cleaning and maintaining commercial equipment.
3. Flexibility: Comfortable working in varying conditions, including cold outdoor environments and indoor spaces.
4. Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain high cleanliness, operational, and safety standards in all tasks.
5. Physical Fitness: Capable of handling the physical demands of the role, including working in cold environments and on-site troubleshooting.
6. Availability: Willing to attend the mandatory training day and commit to scheduled work hours.
