Job Overview
We have the opportunity for registered staff in the area to join our Band 6 Bank. Staff on the bank can be offered work within any of the specialities within Occupational Therapy on a short term basis to cover absences or during recruitment.
Main duties of the job
* Provide a flexible and comprehensive service to the area you are allocated to.
* Confidently carry out comprehensive and professional interventions for patients with complex needs incorporating physical, personal and psychological needs in relation to self-care, leisure and productivity.
* Have excellent organisational and communication skills.
* Provide supervision and development of support workers and students within your team.
* Maintain links with the immediate team as well as wider team alongside external agencies to maintain and develop the trust Occupational Therapy service.
* Have the ability to use computer systems in order to update clinical information necessary for the job role including data collection and audits.
* Maintain and update own knowledge as required by the HCPC – active encouragement is promoted to seek internal and external training and development opportunities.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Essential criteria
* Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy.
* HCPC Registration.
Desirable criteria
* Short courses at post graduate diploma level.
Experience

* Significant post graduate experience.
Desirable criteria
* Broad band 5 rotational experience.
Aptitude and ability
Essential Criteria
* Evidence of working independently/ level of supervision relevant to experience.
Desirable criteria
* Ability to speak Welsh.
