This role will be based within the company's factory, offering a salary of £44k dependent on experience and to work a 3 shift system (6 - 2, 2 - 10, 10 - 6).

As a Maintenance Engineer, the role will involve but will not be limited to:
1. Working closely with the Engineering Manager and Maintenance Manager to ensure safe, timely and effective completion of on-site reactive and PPM duties, liaising with the relevant departments to minimise downtime.
2. Working a 3-shift pattern handling both reactive breakdowns and PPM activities to keep the site running as efficiently as possible.
3. Experience with schematic drawings, fault finding in panels, control systems, PLC controls, 3 phase and single phase.
4. Maintaining extruders, saws, mixers, pumps, conveyors systems, screwers, gear boxes, hydraulics, pneumatics, and motors.
5. Carrying out overhauls and repairs of plant and machinery including PLCs.
6. Supporting maintenance shutdowns.
7. Acting as a role model and lead by example demonstrating core company values, behaviours, and high-performance standards at all times.
Suitable Candidate:
1. Apprentice trained Maintenance Engineer with a minimum of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
2. Previously worked within a manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
3. Electrically biased.
4. 18th Edition is highly desirable.
