Join the PeopleofGEA As our GEA family continues to grow, we are seeking a Refrigeration Product & Systems Support Engineer to join our UK Compression technologies team. In this role, you will deliver support to both our internal and external customers. ( This role can be based anywhere in the UK) Provide technical support for all company industrial refrigeration products to staff at the Ross-on-Wye office, as well as to our intercompany and third-party customers, via telephone, email, and interactive resources. Deliver on-site technical assistance, including commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of compressors, packages, chillers, heat pumps, and control systems. Prepare and provide quotations for GEA Service Screw Compressors, and offer on-site support for the installation and commissioning of these compressors. Prepare and provide quotations for GEA Omni Controllers, and assist with on-site installation and commissioning. Prepare and provide quotations for Grasso Conversion Kits (GCK), and assist with on-site installation and commissioning of these kits. Collaborate with factories in the Netherlands and Berlin to address technical questions related to compressors, packages, chillers, heat pumps, and controls from our customers. Manage the warranty register for compressors, packages, chillers, heat pumps, and controls, and liaise with the customer database regarding warranty issues. Demonstrate and, when necessary, supervise the dismantling and reassembly of GEA products for customers. Provide technical training on screw compressors, reciprocating compressors, and Omni controllers, both on-site and at the UK training facility. Work closely with the component sales and service departments to promote and upsell GEA HRT service products, and explore opportunities to expand the service product business. Offer technical guidance on equipment upgrades or replacements. Analyse data from system controllers to identify and diagnose faults or issues. Program in-house control and automation systems for customer use. Travel to factories in the Netherlands and Berlin for training and participation in technical working groups. Provide emergency on-site support when required.
